Opal DK Sock yarn (Regenwald 18 — die Expedition collection) is a 6-ply, hard-wearing sock yarn that knits up quickly into thick socks.
Opal sock yarns are mulesing free and spun from virgin wool, the softest and strongest first shearing of fleece.
- DK weight (#3 Light) sock yarn
- 150 g / 420 m
- 75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide
- Suggest needle sizes for socks: 3.25 – 3.5 mm / US 3 – 5
- Sock gauge using suggested needles: 6 – 6.5 sts per inch
- Suggested needles sizes for garments: 3.75 – 4.5 mm / US 5 – 7
- Crochet hooks: 4.5 – 5.5 mm, or sizes 7 to I-9

- Machine washable at 40 C. Dry flat.
