Description
Celtic Raven Fibres Superwash Sock Yarn is made from the silky and strong fleece of Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) sheep combined with a little nylon for added strength.
BFL is known for its luster, drape, and warmth. It has a lovely, natural wool feel in the hand, but its long-staple fibres make it silky rather than itchy, and they also contribute to its strength. Blue Faced Leicester wool is a treat for knitters, and makes the coziest, lightest garments.
Hand dyed in Nova Scotia, Canada.

- Suggested needle sizes: 2 – 2.5 mm for socks, 3 – 3.5 mm for other garments / 0 – 1.5 US for socks, 2.5 – 4 mm for other garments
- Gauge using suggested needles: 8 – 9 sts per inch for socks, or about 26 sts per 4 inches / 10 cm for other garments
- Machine washable. Hang or dry flat, or occasionally dry in dyer on a cool setting.
