Yvieknits Yarns Sock Self Striping

Yvieknits Yarns Sock Self Striping is a delightful collection of locally hand painted, self-striping sock yarn. With many playful colourways, these skeins knit up in narrow stripes that make for very happy feet.

The stripe sequence is about [3 rounds, 1 round, 3 rounds, 1 round], then repeat, when knitting a 64-stitch sock at 8 sts per inch. The narrow rounds are made by the repeating colour (ie. Trekkie Knitter’s stripes are gold, black, red, black…. So the black stripes are thin one-round stripes, and gold and red sections are about 3 rounds each.)

• 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon
• 100 g / 400 m per skein
• Milled in Canada
• Hand dyed in Ottawa, Canada
• Machine wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
