Description
We love knitting with Malabrigo Seis Cabos! It knits up with the most lovely drape and definition. It’s a new favourite around here.
Seis Cabos is Malabrigo’s light worsted weight wool. It’s 100% extra-fine merino wool with no superwash treatment, so you get the softness of merino, the strength of six plies, and all the natural warmth of 100% wool.
Meaning “six plies” in Spanish, Seis Cabos is meticulously crafted by tightly twisting each one of its six plies. This process creates a unique texture and offers greater strength and resilience to the yarn, ensuring every creation stands the test of time. Its one-of-a-kind construction not only guarantees great stitch definition but also provides a lovely drape to every project.
Great for: Accessories, garments, baby and kids items, housewares, toys, cables, textured stitches, colorwork.

From Malabrigo:
Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. Skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
When we dye our yarns, the same formula is used each time but every batch of yarn may vary. The differences from one dye lot to another can be very subtle, or extremely noticeable, especially on variegated yarns. After our quality control team checks the skeins, they go to the labeling section and then are put in bags of five or ten (depending on the yarn). Once the bags get to the yarn stores, most skeins go to different shelves where they can get mixed.
The colors shown on photos are illustrated as reference; as mentioned above, they can differ on more or less of one tone, due to the hand-dyed process.
