Loopy Mango Big Cotton is a textured, soft, bulky 100% cotton yarn. Its unique 2-ply structure of one bulky ply and one thin, thread-like ply gives it a wavy texture that knits up into a semi-smooth fabric and makes amazing fringe.
Big Cotton is great to use in chunky, oversized sweater patterns, quick hats and cowls, bags with fringe (or without), dramatic scarves, luxurious and drapey blankets, and more.
This yarn is great for people with wool allergies and for warmer climates. Cotton is a plant fibre, making Big Cotton yarn 100% vegan.
This chunky cotton yarn is perfect for quick projects – 1 or 2 balls is enough for a beanie, 3 for a fringe scarf, 8 for a long vest, 5 for a baby blanket.
One 100-gram ball knits up in 30-60 minutes.

Care: Hand wash or machine wash cold, tumble dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. As Loopy Mango cotton is chunky, un-mercerized, and minimally processed to preserve the fibre’s natural softness and elasticity, it is more prone to shedding.
