ChiaoGoo Twist Lace Interchangeables are our favourite knitting needles! With sharp, precise points and super-smooth joins where the needle tips join the cords, these knitting needles check all the boxes.
Their best feature, that takes them from great to amazing, is the structure of the cord. With a braided metal cable centre surrounded by a smooth nylon outer coating, these cords don’t twirl and twist or get more and more coiled like plastic cords. We love them!!
The Twist knitting needle tips are permanently etched with their sizes on each needle.
ChiaoGoo Twist Lace Interchangeable knitting needle tips come with three sizes of screw fasteners — Mini (M), Small (S), and Large (L). These screw sizes correspond to the cords’ screw sizes, so make sure you order the correct screw size for your needle tips, or get an adapter.

Needle Lengths — What Size Should You Choose?
ChiaoGoo Twists come in lengths of 3″, 4″, and 5″. We recommend using the short tips (3 – 4″) for small circles (16″ or less), and the longer tips for larger circles.
To calculate the total length of your circular needles, add the needle length (x2) to the cord length.
Ex: 4″ + 4″ (needles) + 8″ (cord) = 16″ circular needle
Ex: 5″ + 5″ (needles) + 22″ (cord) = 32″ circular needle
