The 9 mm Stitch Plate with 5.5 mm Stitch Hole is ideal for sewing decorative stitches with a width of up to 5.5 mm. It is very useful when working with soft, fine fabrics.

The 5.5 mm BISR Stitch Plate with Sensor was specially designed for the 9 Series. With this Stitch Plate and the Integrated Stitch Regulator (BISR), BERNINA Stitch Regulation is now possible with all quilting applications – including Ruler Work! The machine recognizes the Stitch Plate automatically thanks to the sensor. It is also ideal for sewing decorative stitches with a width of up to 5.5 mm, because the narrow needle opening prevents thin or soft fabrics from being pulled through the hole while sewing.
