Learn Mosaic knitting with Amanda Schwabe.  Mosaic knitting is a technique that allows lovely texture and single stranded colour work, no yarn carries here.  This class features Amanda’s Mosaica Shawl pattern.

Mosaica is designed to give you a relaxing-yet-interesting knitting experience. It features textured knit-and-purl patterns with short repeats separated by bands of two-colour mosaic patterns that are easy enough for an advanced beginner.

There are no fancy colourwork techniques here — just one yarn is used at a time in simple two-row stripes, and the patterns are formed by slipping stitches, simply moving them from one needle to the other without knitting them. The pattern tells you exactly what to do and when, of course.

This three week course is offered in your choice of two time slots:

Tuesdays 2pm to 4pm and
