Improv Your Scraps – Piece by Piece and Shape by Shape

Description

Dive right in to improv piecing with your scraps.  In this class, you will create your favourite quilt shapes with scraps, add them to other pieces and create your own original modern quilt top.  Break the rules, play with imperfect piecing and points, and build your masterpiece.

What You Will Learn

In this class, you will learn:

1. 1. 1. Modern improv ways to create your shapes
      2. Adding shapes to larger pieces of fabric
      3. Using a variety of cutting tools and rulers
      4. Creating different layouts, such as block grid and medallion
      5. Squaring up your project
      6. Alternate finishes such as binding and facing
