Malabrigo Sock is a soft, smoothly-plied, lightweight sock yarn, now available in these special Metamorphic Collection gradient cakes. Spun from luxurious merino and treated to make it machine washable for easy care, don’t be fooled by the name — while it’s certainly a treat for the feet, this delightful yarn is also a particular favourite for shawls and scarves.
One gradient cake is enough to make a small shawl / shawlette, a pair of socks, two pairs of gloves, 2 hats, or one Musselburgh Hat.
Malabrigo Sock is great for knitting lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, and gloves. For socks, we recommend Malabrigo Ultimate Sock yarn.

- Suggested needle sizes: 2.25 – 3.25 mm / US 1 – 3
- Gauge using suggested needles: 8 – 6 sts per 1 inch / 2.5 cm
- Machine wash. Dry flat.
