Description
Artfil Chalet is an artisanal DK-weight yarn, spun in small batches. It has charming little imperfections that highlight its unique nature. The word Chalet (shall-ay) is French for cabin, and the rustic luxury of this yarn is reminiscent of a cozy winter getaway in the woods. All the colour names, also in French, are inspired by things we associate with the chalet vacation. The yarn has an earthy, heathered look from the way the dyes react differently to its wool and hemp fibres, but it feels soft and almost silky. The merino has been eco-treated to make it machine washable.
Suitable for all projects requesting DK weight yarn, including sweaters, ponchos, shawls, hats, mittens, scarves, wraps, blankets, home decor.
Artfil Chalet is also available in 15g mini skeins to make it easier to add a little colourwork or stripes to your projects.
