The “Big Win” of this session is conquering structured assembly\, where you will learn to bridge the gap between flat sewing and 3D construction. You will leave the classroom not just with a finished pair of high-quality\, personalized shoes\, but with the technical confidence to install professional hardware and manipulate heavy-duty materials for future accessory projects. \nWhat You Will Learn\n\n\n\nPrecision Pattern Placement: Mastering the layout and cutting of quilted fabric to ensure patterns align perfectly with your chosen sole size.\nThree-Dimensional Assembly: Learning the specific techniques required to sew a flat fabric upper into a contoured shoe shape.\nHardware Installation: Professional techniques for setting grommets and eyelets using specialized tools for a durable\, high-end finish.\nSole Integration: Understanding how to properly bond and secure your fabric uppers to pre-formed rubber soles for long-lasting wear.\nFinishing & Detailing: Learning the “pro-touch” methods to hide raw edges and reinforce stress points in DIY footwear.\n\n\n\nClass Details\n\nDate & Time: April 18th\, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM\nLocation: Maker Savvy Classroom\nSkill Level: Intermediate. Students should be comfortable operating a sewing machine and maintaining a consistent seam allowance.
