    • If you can knit and purl, you can take this class. The cowl is knit in the round, so if this is new for you, that will be a bonus skill to learn!

    • Amanda Schwabe is a knitting pattern designer and artist, and she has been teaching professional knitting classes for over ten years and selling paintings for almost as long.

Special Information & Preparation

• Pre-Class Prep:
  • Gather yarns from your stash (in fingering weight and/or sport weight) and bring them on the first day. Make sure all yarn is wound and ready to knit.
  • Bring images (or Pinterest boards) of anything — projects, artwork, quilts, landscapes, etc. — that contain colour palettes you love. Think about your favourite colours to wear, as well. Are they the same?
  • A supply list will be emailed to you.
